Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations. If you join us and no seats are available we have a list at our front bar counter. Please sign up for a spot and we will get a drink while you wait. With such a small number of seats in house, we are be unable to seat your party until everyone is present.

We do take reservations for our private dining room however. We have a $400 minimum for the room so it typically works well for groups larger 8 people. Please call us at 206.659.0074 to make reservations.

Are you kid friendly? Why not (Angry Emoji)?!

Our entire bar and restaurant is 21+. Yes, we know your infant isn’t going to post up at the bar and have a pint, still, the law is the law.

From the very start of our planning we intended to be an all-ages restaurant and bar, but restrictions placed on us by the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections and the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis board prevented us from allowing kids in our establishment. While we’ve had to steer our ship in a new direction, we love being an adult only space and taking care of you when you get a moment away from the kids.

We think the law needs to change, and if you agree, please contact your congressperson!

Are you dog Friendly?

Dogs are allowed on our back patio! We’ve got a few too many temptations for hungry dogs so they are not allowed inside the restaurant.

Do you have parking?

We have a parking lot access from the alleyway off 80th. But hey, don't drink and drive, there's a bus out front (the 73).

CAN I BUY YOUR MEATS TO GO? OR BY THE POUND?

We plan to open our market selling meats to go as soon as possible, though we aren't quite ready yet.

What's up with the service Charge?

In order to provide a living wage beyond our $15/hr starting wage, The Shambles charges a 15% service charge rather than a tip. The Shambles returns 100% of that money to our staff (though the state requires we charge tax on that amount). Any additional tip is not required but stays with your server and bar team. This allows us to fairly distribute funds to everyone on staff.
